The TLC5958 is a 48-channel constant-current sink driver with 16-bit Grayscale (GS) control using Enhanced Spectrum (ES-PWM). It supports 32-multiplexing and includes 48k bits of display data memory. The device features global brightness control, color brightness control for three color groups, and an internal pre-charge FET to eliminate ghosting in multiplexed LED displays. It also includes LED open detection, thermal shutdown, and IREF resistor short protection.
