The TLC69628-Q1 is a highly integrated 48-channel constant current sink LED driver designed for automotive local dimming backlighting. It supports up to 16-bit individual pixel-level PWM control and 7-bit analog dot correction for peak current control. The device features an integrated 33MHz oscillator, high-speed SPI communication up to 17Mbps, and adaptive headroom voltage control (AHVC) for power efficiency. It includes advanced diagnostics for LED open/short detection, adjacent-pin shorts, and internal memory/oscillator monitoring, targeted for ASIL B functional safety applications.
