The TLC69651 is a 16-channel constant current sink driver designed for LCD local dimming backlight applications. It features 16 high-precision constant current sinks with a maximum output voltage of 50V and a maximum current of 30mA per channel. The device integrates SRAM for brightness storage and supports a high-speed two-wire serial daisy-chain interface for up to 1024 devices. It includes adaptive headroom voltage control (AHVC) for system efficiency, as well as LED open/short detection and thermal shutdown diagnostics.
