The TPS61160 is a boostconverter with a 40-V rated integrated switch FET designed to drive LEDs in series. It operates at a 600-kHz fixed switching frequency to reduce output ripple and allow the use of small external components. The device features a 200-mV feedback voltage regulated with ±2% accuracy. Control of LED current is achieved via the EasyScale™ 1-wire digital interface or through a PWM signal applied to the CTRL pin. It includes integrated open LED protection, soft start, and is housed in a space-saving WSON package.
