The TPS61166 is a boost converter with a 20-V rated integrated switch FET and power diode that drives up to 5 LEDs in series. It integrates a high-side switch FET capable of turning the LED current on/off within 1-µs of an external PWM signal, providing input-to-output isolation during shutdown. The device features a 1.1-A peak-to-peak overcurrent protection and operates with a feedback voltage regulated to 200-mV. It supports single- or two-cell Li-ion battery applications by separating the IC input (VIN) and power stage input (VBAT).
