The TPS61180 is a highly integrated white-LED (WLED) driver designed for notebook LCD backlighting. It features a high-efficiency boost converter with a 1.5-A switch FET and six current sink regulators. Each current sink can drive up to 25mA of LED current. The device features a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 24V and supports PWM dimming with an integrated interface. It includes protection features such as open LED protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown.
