The TPS65561 is a highly integrated solution designed for charging photo flash capacitors from a battery input and subsequently discharging the capacitor to a xenon flash tube. It integrates a 50-V power switch, an IGBT driver, a voltage reference, and control logic. The device features an optimized PWM control loop for fast charging times and high efficiency, sensing output voltage from the primary side to reduce component count.
