It includes a 12-switch series array for bypassing individual LEDs in a string and a multi-drop UART serial communication interface for control by a master microcontroller. The device features an onboard charge pump rail that floats up to 67V above ground to provide gate drive, 10-bit programmable PWM dimming with individual turn-on/off times, and comprehensive fault reporting for open and shorted LEDs.
