Dual channel RS-232 line driver/receiver, operating at 250Kbps data rate. Features +/-9V output capability and +/-15kV IEC-ESD protection. This transceiver supports full duplex communication with two drivers and two receivers. Encased in a 16-SOIC surface mount package, it operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply voltage range, with a typical 5V operating voltage. Suitable for applications requiring robust serial communication over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
