Configurable mixed-signal I/O device provides eight channels that can operate as 12-bit DAC outputs, 12-bit ADC inputs, digital inputs, or digital outputs. The ADC supports up to 400 kSPS operation, and control is provided through an SPI-compatible serial interface. Operation is supported from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply with an integrated 2.5 V reference. The orderable device uses a 16-lead LFCSP package and is specified for industrial temperature operation.
