A 16-bit charge redistribution SAR analog-to-digital converter provides fully differential conversion at up to 2 MSPS in wideband warp and warp modes. The converter operates from a single 2.5 V analog and digital core supply with a 2.3 V to 3.6 V output interface supply. It includes an internal conversion clock, 2.048 V reference and buffer, error correction circuitry, and serial or parallel digital interface ports. Performance includes ±1.5 LSB maximum INL, 92.5 dB typical dynamic range, and −115 dB typical THD at a 20 kHz input with a 2.5 V reference. Pb-free 48-lead LQFP and LFCSP packages are specified for −40°C to +85°C operation.
