The unipolar SAR analog-to-digital converter digitizes 0 V to 2.5 V inputs at up to 500 kSPS with 16-bit resolution and no pipeline delay. It operates from a single 5 V supply and provides parallel and serial interfaces compatible with 5 V or 3 V logic, including SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP connections. An internal 2.5 V reference with typical 7 ppm/°C drift is included, and typical power dissipation is 80 mW with the reference enabled at full throughput. Operation is specified from -40°C to +85°C in 48-lead LQFP and 48-lead LFCSP packages.
