A 16-bit charge-redistribution SAR analog-to-digital converter provides 100 kSPS throughput with no missing codes and no pipeline delay. The converter operates from a single 5 V supply and accepts a 0 V to 2.5 V unipolar analog input range. It includes a 2.5 V internal reference, factory calibration, internal error correction, and serial or parallel digital interfaces compatible with 3 V and 5 V logic. Operation is specified from -40°C to +85°C in 48-lead LQFP and LFCSP packages.
