The 18-bit successive-approximation ADC operates at up to 1 MSPS with zero latency. The converter samples a true differential analog input over a ±VREF range and supports an external reference from 2.5 V to 5 V. It operates from a single 2.5 V supply with a separate logic interface compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V systems. The serial interface is SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP compatible and supports daisy chaining with an optional busy indicator. Operation is specified from −40°C to +85°C in 10-lead MSOP and 3 mm × 3 mm 10-lead LFCSP packages.
