12-bit analog-to-digital converter supports sampling rates up to 250 MSPS for communications and broadband data-acquisition applications. The converter operates from 1.8 V analog and digital supplies and uses LVDS output levels. Dynamic performance includes 69.7 dBFS SNR and 87 dBc SFDR at a 185 MHz analog input and 250 MSPS. The input range is flexible from 1.4 V p-p to 2.0 V p-p, with a 1.75 V p-p nominal full-scale range. Integrated functions include an internal voltage reference, clock duty-cycle stabilizer, serial port control, an integer 1-to-8 input clock divider, and power-down modes.
