The five-port single-pair Power over Ethernet PSE controller supports IEEE 802.3cg SPoE systems using standardized power and Ethernet data over a single-pair cable. It operates from a 6 V to 60 V input supply and is designed for 24 V or 54 V powered-device systems. External N-channel MOSFETs provide high-side power switching with adjustable source and return electronic circuit breakers. The device supports SCCP classification, maintain full voltage signature detection, PD sleep and wake-up functions, telemetry, and software control through an SPI interface with packet error code protection. The 48-lead 7 mm × 7 mm plastic QFN package is specified for a −40°C to +125°C operating junction temperature range.
