The HEDS-9701-G54 is a through-hole mounted optical encoder module for rotary motion applications. It provides incremental digital encoder signals and operates within a temperature range of -40 to 85°C. The module requires a supply voltage between 4.5VDC and 5.5VDC. It is not programmable and does not have an indexed index output. The device is designed for use in environments where a straight body orientation is suitable.
