Overview

This technical document details the circuit design for the Olimex ESP32-S3-DevKit-LiPo Rev B development board. It features the Espressif ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N8R8 module integrated with a BL4054B LiPo battery charger and a SY8089AAAC DC-DC step-down converter for power management. The design includes dual USB-C interfaces: one for native USB-OTG/JTAG and one dedicated to UART via the CH340X bridge. The board provides battery level sensing on GPIO6, power sensing on GPIO5, a UEXT connector, and dual 22-pin extension headers compatible with the ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1 pinout.
