EVAL-ADGS1212SDZ User Guide: Evaluating the ADGS1212 SPI Quad SPST Switch
Evaluation board guide for the ADGS1212 SPI-controlled quad SPST switch. Features CRC error detection, ±15 V dual or +12 V single supply, and ACE software control.
Overview
The EVAL-ADGS1212SDZ is a evaluation board for the Analog Devices ADGS1212, a low charge injection and low capacitance quad single-pole, single-throw (SPST) switch. The device is controlled via a serial peripheral interface (SPI) that includes robust error detection features such as cyclic redundancy check (CRC), invalid read/write address detection, and SCLK count error detection. The board supports both dual-supply (±15 V) and single-supply (+12 V) operation and can be daisy-chained with multiple devices. It is designed to interface with the EVAL-SDP-CB1Z system demonstration platform (SDP-B) and utilizes Analog Devices' Analysis Control Evaluation (ACE) software for PC-based control. Hardware features include screw terminals for analog signals and power, plus jumpers for flexible logic supply and reset configurations.
