Overview

The EVAL-ADGS1612SDZ User Guide provides instructions for evaluating the ADGS1612, an iCMOS quad single-pole, single-throw (SPST) switch controlled by a serial peripheral interface (SPI). The ADGS1612 includes robust error detection features such as CRC, invalid read/write address detection, and SCLK count error detection, while supporting daisy-chaining and burst mode. The evaluation board operates with dual supplies from ±3.3 V to ±8 V or a single supply from 3.3 V to 16 V. It is designed for use with the System Demonstration Platform (SDP-B) and the Analysis Control Evaluation (ACE) software. The document includes detailed hardware setup, link configuration options, software installation procedures, circuit schematics, PCB layout artwork, and a complete bill of materials.

Use Cases

  • Evaluating SPI-controlled analog switches
  • Testing high-reliability signal routing with error detection
  • Prototyping daisy-chained switch configurations
  • Developing low on-resistance analog signal switching applications
