Overview
The EVAL-LT8277-AZ evaluation circuit is a dual-phase non-synchronous high-power step-up converter featuring the LT8277 controller. It regulates an output voltage up to 60V and supports up to a 3A load from an input voltage range of 9V to 36V. The circuit operates at a 200kHz switching frequency and includes Spread Spectrum Frequency Modulation (SSFM) to reduce EMI. Users can operate the board in standalone mode or via an SPI interface to adjust the output voltage in 0.5V steps, configure phase shifting, and manage soft-start speeds. The design includes an input EMI filter, current sensing resistors, and optimized power-stage MOSFETs and diodes for high efficiency, achieving 92% at 12V input and 60V/3A output.
