Overview

This schematic design document details the architecture of the Olimex iCE40HX1K-EVB development board. The design is centered on the Lattice Semiconductor iCE40HX1K FPGA in a VQ100 package. It includes 2MBytes of Winbond W25Q16BV SPI Flash for configuration and 4Mbit (256K x 16) Samsung K6R4016V1D SRAM for high-speed data storage. Power is managed via two Silergy SY8009AAAC step-down regulators providing 1.2V core and 3.3V I/O rails. The board features a 100MHz TXC oscillator, a 34-pin GPIO expansion header (BH34R), a 10-pin programming connector, user buttons, and status LEDs for power and configuration status.
