This high-precision Hall-effect latch provides accurate magnetic switching thresholds with high sensitivity and stability for operating temperatures up to 150°C. It operates from a 2.7 V to 18 V supply, includes reverse-battery protection to -18 V, and uses an open-collector digital output with up to 20 mA sink capability. The device offers low switching jitter, typical 1 μs, and high ESD robustness of ±4 kV HBM. It is intended for magnetic position sensing applications such as BLDC motor rotor detection and index counting with small pole wheels and large air gaps. The part is supplied in a PG-SSO-3-2 leaded package.
