This device is a high-precision Hall effect latch for 5 V applications with highly accurate switching thresholds. It operates from a regulated 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply and uses an open-drain output with typical supply current of 1.5 mA. Active error compensation and stable magnetic thresholds support precise switching, and typical output jitter is 0.28 microseconds. The sensor is specified for operation from -40 °C to 170 °C and is housed in a small PG-SOT23-3-15 surface-mount package. Typical magnetic thresholds at 25 °C are 5.0 mT operating point, -5.0 mT release point, and 10.0 mT hysteresis.
