Automotive CAN system basis chip integrates a 5 V low-drop regulator supply, a CAN FD transceiver, high-voltage GPIO, SPI control, watchdog, undervoltage reset, and fail-safe outputs. It supports a CAN FD ISO 11898-2 interface with a maximum 5 Mbit/s transmission rate. Dual regulator outputs provide 5 V at 150 mA on VCC1 and 5 V at 100 mA on VCC2. Low-power operation includes 15 µA typical sleep-mode quiescent current and 44 µA typical stop-mode standby current, with wake capability from wake pins and CAN.
