Automotive engine control output driver IC provides four integrated low-side drivers and four low-side gate predrivers. The low-side drivers support fuel injectors, solenoids, lamps and relays, while the predrivers can drive ignition IGBTs or external MOSFETs. The device operates from a 4.5 V to 36 V load supply and interfaces to a host MCU through 3.3 V or 5.0 V SPI, parallel and PWM control paths. It is supplied in a 32-terminal HSOP package with 0.65 mm pitch and includes diagnostics and fault protection for output current, overvoltage, short-circuit, thermal shutdown and undervoltage conditions.
