Secure access module provides hardware security services for reader devices and connected credential infrastructures. It supports MIFARE Crypto1, DES, TDEA, AES up to 256 bits, RSA up to 2048 bits and ECC up to 256 bits. The contact interface supports ISO/IEC 7816 T=1 communication with Class A, B and C supply operation and high-speed baud rates up to 1.5 Mbit/s. HVQFN variants add an optional I2C slave host interface, while family ordering options include wafer, HVQFN32 and PCM1.5 contact-module deliveries. The device operates from -25 °C to +85 °C and supports secure key storage, true random number generation and programmable logic for restricted customer functionality.
