SMBJ33A

SMBJ33A is a unidirectional Transil transient voltage suppressor in the SMBJ series for surge and ESD protection of sensitive electronic equipment. It is rated for 600 W peak pulse power on a 10/1000 µs waveform and 4 kW on an 8/20 µs waveform, with a reverse standoff voltage of 33 V. The device is specified for IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 immunity up to 15 kV air discharge and 8 kV contact discharge, and it is also intended for IEC 61000-4-4 and IEC 61000-4-5 electrical overstress conditions. Low leakage current is specified at 0.2 µA at 25 °C and 1 µA at 85 °C, and the maximum junction temperature is 150 °C. The resin meets UL 94 V-0 requirements and the series supports standardized packing per EIA RS-481 and IEC 60286-3.
