An intelligent control LED light source integrates an RGB LED die and control circuit in a 5050 surface-mount package. The device uses a single-line NZR data protocol with reshaping data output for cascaded pixels. Each pixel accepts 24-bit GRB data and supports 256 brightness levels per color for 16,777,216-color display. Typical operation uses an 800 kHz oscillator, a 2 kHz scan frequency, and a reset low time greater than 280 microseconds.
