A low power, low noise integrated analog front end provides a 24-bit sigma-delta ADC for precision measurement applications. The converter supports 8 differential inputs or 15 single-ended or pseudo differential inputs, with programmable gain from 1 to 128 and per-channel configuration. Three power modes trade current consumption, noise, and output data rate, with output rates up to 19.2 kSPS in full-power mode. The device operates from a 2.7 V to 3.6 V analog supply or dual 1.8 V supplies, uses an independent 1.65 V to 3.6 V interface supply, and is specified from -40 °C to +125 °C. It includes an internal reference, excitation currents, calibration, diagnostics, CRC support, and a 3-wire or 4-wire SPI-compatible serial interface in a 32-lead LFCSP package.
