Wireless network manager SoC integrates a 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4e radio transceiver, ARM Cortex-M3 processor, and embedded SmartMesh IP networking software. The device manages self-healing, time-synchronized mesh networks of up to 100 nodes with per-transmission frequency hopping and NIST-certified security. It operates from a 2.1 V to 3.76 V supply and supports a UART host interface for network management and data ingress or egress. The radio supports 15 channels from 2.4000 GHz to 2.4835 GHz with 250 kbps DSSS signaling and typical receiver sensitivity to -93 dBm. The IC is supplied in a 72-lead 10 mm by 10 mm plastic QFN package.
