Overview

The EVAL-ADIN1100EBZ is a flexible evaluation platform for the ADIN1100 and ADIN1101 robust, low-power 10BASE-T1L Physical Layer (PHY) devices. It enables 10 Mbps Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) connectivity over distances up to 1.7 km. The board integrates an ADIN1200 Ethernet PHY to function as a 10BASE-T1L to 10BASE-T media converter and an on-board ADuCM4050 microcontroller for device management. Users can configure the system via a PC-based GUI over USB or through hardware switches for standalone operation. The platform provides headers for MII, RMII, and RGMII interface access, and includes a prototyping area for testing alternative cable topologies, isolation transformers, and power coupling inductors.
