
This transformer driver IC generates an open-loop isolated gate-driver supply for IGBT, SiC MOSFET, and similar power-switch applications. It operates from a 4.5 V to 20 V supply and supports up to 5 W output power. The 2EP101R variant provides 50 kHz or 65 kHz switching frequency options and fixed 12% or 17% duty-cycle settings for asymmetric gate-driver supplies. Integrated protection functions include UVLO monitoring, average and peak overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, overtemperature shutdown, soft start, and a ready output. It is qualified for industrial applications, supports ambient operation from -40 °C to 125 °C, and is supplied in an 8-pin TSSOP package.
