Overview

This document describes the EVAL-2EP130R-VD evaluation board designed to validate the Infineon 2EP1xxR product family, specifically the 2EP130R full-bridge transformer driver IC. The board demonstrates isolated gate driver power supplies for IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs using a voltage doubler topology to provide positive and negative output rails. It supports adjustments for operating frequency (50 kHz to 695 kHz), duty cycle (10% to 50%), and overcurrent protection levels.
