Overview
The EV-ADuM7704-8FMCZ is a full-featured evaluation board for the ADuM7704 16-bit, isolated, sigma-delta modulator. The board includes on-board power management components such as the ADuM6000 isoPower dc-to-dc converter, the ADP2360 buck regulator, and the ADP7104 LDO regulator. It is designed to interface with the EVAL-SDP-CH1Z (SDP-H1) controller board for PC-based data analysis via the ACE software. The ADuM7704 provides high-speed single-bit data streams with on-chip digital isolation and supports pseudo-differential input signals up to ±50 mV for shunt voltage monitoring in high-voltage applications. This document covers hardware setup, jumper configurations, and software procedures for FFT and histogram analysis.
