Overview
The EVAL-ADG5248FEBZ is an evaluation platform for the ADG5248F, an 8:1 multiplexer featuring integrated overvoltage detection and protection. The board supports dual supplies from ±5 V to ±22 V or a single supply from 8 V to 44 V. It provides protection against signal voltages up to -55 V and +55 V in both powered and unpowered states. The design includes an on-board ADP7142 LDO regulator for digital logic, LED indicators for visual fault status signaling via the FF and SF pins, and manual control switches. Users can interface with the multiplexer using wire screw terminals for source and drain pins or SMB connectors for external control signals.
