Overview
This document describes the hardware and software setup for the ADRF6520-EVALZ evaluation board. The ADRF6520 is a dual-channel, programmable low-pass filter and variable gain amplifier (VGA) designed for 2 GHz channel spacing in microwave radios. The evaluation board facilitates testing of low-pass filtering, analog gain control (0 V to 1.5 V), and on-chip RMS detectors. It features matched signal path traces for single-ended or differential configurations and utilizes an SDP-S controller board for SPI programming. The guide includes detailed configuration options for signal paths, RMS video bandwidth adjustment, DC offset correction loops, schematics, PCB layout artwork, and a complete bill of materials.
