Overview

The EVAL-AD3542RFMCZ user guide provides technical details for evaluating the AD3542R, a high-speed dual-channel 16-bit precision DAC. The evaluation board enables testing of output ranges, waveform generation, and power supply configurations. It features an on-board LTC7149 DC/DC converter, LT3045 and LT3094 LDO regulators for precision supply rails, and an ADR4525 2.5V voltage reference. The board interfaces with a PC using the SDP-H1 controller and Analysis, Control, Evaluation (ACE) software for device configuration and performance monitoring. Hardware includes selectable transimpedance gain and impedance matching options for laboratory instrumentation.

Use Cases

  • High-speed precision DAC performance evaluation
  • Waveform and vector generation testing
  • Transimpedance amplifier gain and supply configuration
  • Precision analog signal chain prototyping
  • Evaluation of low-noise power supply configurations for DACs
