Overview

This document describes the evaluation hardware and software for the AD4170-4, a 24-bit, multichannel, low-noise precision sigma-delta ADC with a 50 kHz input bandwidth. The EVAL-AD4170-4ARDZ board provides a platform for performance testing, including on-board ADR4525 and LTC6655 2.5 V references, SMB connectors for signal input, and an integrated ADXL1002 vibration sensor. The system operates with the EVAL-SDP-CK1Z controller for PC-based analysis through the ACE plugin, supporting DC time-domain noise analysis and AC frequency-domain analysis (FFT, SNR, SFDR, and THD). The board features Arduino and PMOD-compatible connectors and is powered via USB through regulated on-board LDOs.
