Overview

The MAX33047E evaluation kit is a fully assembled platform for testing the MAX33047E and MAX33048E full-duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceivers. These ICs provide ±25V fault protection and ±40kV Human Body Model (HBM) ESD protection. The evaluation board includes screw terminal blocks for power and RS-485 signal connections, test points for all logic signals, and on-board 120Ω termination resistors. It supports data rates up to 500kbps for the MAX33047E and 20Mbps for the MAX33048E. The document includes a full bill of materials, schematic, and PCB layout layers.
