Overview

The DC2237A demonstration circuit features the LTM8064, a 58V, 6A constant voltage, constant current (CVCC) step-down μModule regulator. The board is configured for a 5V output from an input voltage range of 7.5V to 58V. It is capable of sourcing up to 7A and sinking up to 9.1A. When sinking current, the regulator maintains regulation by converting power and delivering energy back to the input bus. The design supports paralleling multiple LTM8064 units for increased load current sharing.
