Overview
The ESP32-EVB Revision K2 is an evaluation and development board designed by Olimex, centered on the Espressif Systems ESP32-WROOM-32E-N4 module. This comprehensive hardware design document outlines the board architecture, including a Microchip LAN8710A-EZC for 10/100 Ethernet connectivity, a SIT1050T CAN transceiver, and two Sanyou RAS-0515 relays for power switching. The board integrates a WCH CH340T USB-to-UART bridge for serial communication and programming, a TP4054-42 LiPo battery charger with measurement circuitry, and a MicroSD card slot for data logging. For wireless and local communication, it includes infrared transmitter/receiver components (VS1838B and IR333-A). Power management is handled by a Silergy SY8089AAAC buck converter providing a 3.3V rail from a 5V input.
