Overview
The EVAL-M1-36-45A is a power stage evaluation board for the iMOTION™ Modular Application Design Kit (MADK). It features the IRSM836-045MA CIPOS™ Nano Intelligent Power Module (IPM), which integrates a 3-phase inverter with 500V Trench FREDFETs and high-voltage gate drivers. Designed for sensorless field-oriented control (FOC), the board supports motor power up to 85W without an external heatsink. Key hardware includes emitter-shunts for three-phase current sensing, a DC-link voltage divider, and an auxiliary power supply.
