Overview

The DC2895A is a demonstration board featuring the LT7101, a high-voltage, low EMI synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator. It is configured to provide a 12V output at up to 1A from an input voltage range of 12V to 100V. Operating at a 400kHz switching frequency, the board includes an integrated EMI filter designed to pass CISPR 25 Class 5 radiated emission tests. The design supports multiple operating modes including Burst Mode for high light-load efficiency, pulse-skipping, and forced continuous mode. The LT7101 integrates power switches and compensation circuitry to minimize external component count, and the board provides terminals for clock synchronization and current monitoring.
