Overview
This design document provides the Rev J schematic for the OLIMEX ESP32-EVB, an evaluation board based on the Espressif Systems ESP-WROOM-32 module. The circuit features a 10/100 Ethernet interface using the Microchip LAN8710A-EZC PHY and includes a CAN bus transceiver (SIT1050T). Power is managed via a Silergy SY8089 buck converter and a BL4054B LiPo battery charger with a micro SD card slot for storage. For industrial control, the board integrates two RAS-0515 relays. Additional features include a CH340T USB-to-UART bridge for programming, an infrared transmitter/receiver pair (IR333-A/VS1838B), and a UEXT connector for hardware expansion.
