Overview
This technical design document contains the full Rev K schematic for Olimex's ESP32-EVB evaluation board. The design is centered on the Espressif ESP-WROOM-32 module and integrates a Microchip LAN8710A-EZC for 10/100 Ethernet connectivity. Key peripheral interfaces include a CAN bus transceiver (SIT1050T), a MicroSD card slot, and a CH340T USB-to-UART bridge. The board features hardware for industrial and home automation, including two RAS-0515 relays and an infrared (IR) transmitter/receiver pair (IR333-A and VS1838B). Power management is handled by a Silergy SY8089 buck converter and a Shanghai Belling BL4054B LiPo battery charger. Expansion is supported through a UEXT connector and a 40-pin GPIO header.
