Overview
The EVAL-M7-HVIGBT-INV is an evaluation power board designed for driving small motors like fans and pumps using Infineon’s 600V TRENCHSTOP RC-D2 IGBTs (IKD04N60RC2). It demonstrates reverse conducting technology for inverter circuitry under hard switching conditions. The board supports sensorless sinusoidal field-oriented control (FOC) and provides up to 200W output power without a heatsink at an 8kHz carrier frequency. Key functional blocks include bus voltage feedback, current feedback, over-temperature protection via an onboard NTC, and an integrated DC power supply. It features the M7 connector interface for connection to iMOTION controller boards.
