Overview
The EVAL-ADMT4000SD1Z evaluation kit provides a comprehensive hardware platform for evaluating the ADMT4000 magnetic turn counter sensor. The system enables zero-power recording of magnetic field turns and absolute position reporting via SPI. The evaluation board includes a built-in coil for magnetic reset, supported by an LT3461 step-up DC/DC converter. Users can interface the board with a PC using the System Demonstration Platform (SDP) and provided GUI for configuration, real-time data streaming in TDMS format, and system-level calibration. The hardware features a break-away PCB design, allowing the sensor section to be separated for use in space-constrained environments with external microcontrollers through 2.54 mm headers.
