Overview

The DC2448A-D demonstration circuit features a PolyPhase design utilizing the LTM4636-1EY, a 40A high-efficiency switch-mode step-down power μModule regulator. This four-phase configuration delivers a nominal 160A output current from an input range of 9V to 15V, with an adjustable output voltage range of 0.6V to 3.3V. The circuit includes an on-board hot swap controller (LTC4218) to disconnect the supply during overvoltage or overtemperature conditions. It supports Burst Mode and pulse-skipping operation for optimized efficiency at low loads, along with external clock synchronization.
