Overview

The UG-745 user guide details the evaluation boards for the Analog Devices AD7625 and AD7626 16-bit PulSAR differential analog-to-digital converters. These boards support 6 MSPS and 10 MSPS sample rates respectively, utilizing an LVDS interface for high-speed data transfer. The design includes versatile analog signal conditioning with ADA4899-1/ADA4897-1 op amps or an optional ADA4932-1 differential amplifier. On-board voltage references include the ADR3412 (1.2V) and ADR4540 (4.096V), supported by AD8031 buffers. Power management is handled by ADP7102, ADP7104, ADP124, and ADP2300 regulators. The hardware interfaces with the EVAL-SDP-CH1Z system demonstration platform via a 160-pin FMC connector for PC-based control and data analysis.

Use Cases

  • High-speed data acquisition system evaluation
  • Performance testing of 16-bit 10 MSPS ADCs
  • Differential signal conditioning circuit design
  • Prototyping with Analog Devices PulSAR ADCs
  • Frequency and time domain signal analysis
